FIVE THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN JIM McELWAIN'S FIRST SEASON

The calendar is getting ready to roll over into July, the heat of summer is setting in, and most kids across the country have been on summer break for a few weeks now. Practically speaking, that means a few things:

ON-CAMPUS STADIUM ISSUE BLOWING UP

You can think what you want to think about CSU building a new on-campus stadium, but Colorado State is going to do what Colorado State is going to do. There will be a stadium built on the southwest side of campus and there is nothing you can do about it. That is Jack Graham and Tony Frank’s mission. It was Graham’s private funding experience that sealed the deal and got him the AD gig.

BLAKE NOWLAND 2013 CSU RECRUIT

Keep bringing them in coach! Another nice pick up for the Rams over the weekend in the form of a 6'5" tackle, 280 pound monster from Douglas County High School in, yep, you guessed it, Castle Rock, Colorado. Blake Nowland is a 2nd Team All-Conference bruiser who loves making pancakes out of human flesh (~:59). Sounds gross but after watching his highlights you'll see what I mean.
