  3. Helmets are awesome, but honestly the uniforms are just ho-hum. Any other options?

  6. Ha, just posted this in the Helmet Article. There it is, the green on light grey. Beauty. Run with it!

"I'm drawn to the green on white, but I also think of Michigan State when I see it. I like cold colors, so I'd vote green on a light grey. Rams naturally live in a snowy/rocky environment. Pitch the stodgy boardroom green and gold uni's and then mess the Buffs up with some faster colors."

  7. All these "combat" uniforms and helmets will turn out, as all fashion chasing turns out, to be horribly dated. Let's go back to classic, clean green and gold (after all, those are the school colors; not gray, black, white, etc.) uniforms and keep the handsome, classy current helmets. Have you noticed that most of the great programs that have traditions (unlike CSU) don't do radical uniform changes - Michigan, USC, UCLA, Ohio State, Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma , Penn State, etc.)? Traditions, an essential part of great programs, require continuity. These new uniforms are a passing fad that will be followed by another fad in a few years. Constant change does not build tradition which builds, with a few wins, a following.
