MOUNTAIN WEST JOINS BCS...

...would be the title of this post if I heard that there was a chance that the Colorado State Rams could go to a BCS bowl, or better yet, compete for a national championship. Yeah right. Instead, they unveil a blocky MW as a new logo? Uh... ok, thanks but when are you going to get to the part where we can stick in the faces of the rest of nation that we finally joined the party? It's kind of like how Apple announcing the release of the Beatles albums on iTunes. A lot of hype leading up a donkey punch to the head. It reminds me of the WB from Warner Brothers. They are kind of similar only one has sub par tv programming and the other has sub par football teams. Hopefully this new logo will make my Rams win 10 games this year.


Now, I give them credit for a much needed upgrade on the outdated busyness of the logo before but come on. When are we going to hear some progress on the X's and O's? When are we going to hear the idiots running the BCS are caving? When are we going to hear the Mountain West is finally an AQ conference?

One of our readers brought this to our attention. This logo looks very similar to Merchant Warehouse logo.

I think we're starting to get the picture. It looks like our conference will start providing friendship bracelets and promise rings for all our athletes.

Doctor Who? I think this logo may have bled into the psyche of Craig Thompson when deciding on a new look. Doctor Who called. He wants his logo back.
